At La Casa Dog Day Care, our day is shaped much like a child nursery with the Montessori approach.  The Montessori approach to education was first developed by Italy’s first female medical doctor, Maria Montessori, and was based on her own direct observations of children. We have taken these learnings and have adapted them to our dogs. We believe that dog's much like children flourish in a centered environment. With the appropriate materials, the right environment and under the guidance of a caring human leader we promise to help you raise a social, confident and happy dog. 

We pick up and drop off your dog at your home in our fully electric school bus. We do not crate our dogs. Instead they are all secured by the safety of doggy seat belts and sat comfortably on non-slip waterproof blankets. On walks our dogs are secured by strong double handle leads with carabiner clips and safety locks and are all anti theft.  

We follow a daily routine packed with enriching activities and stimulating toys.  We want to maximise their time with us and having a routine allows us to schedule in mental stimulation alongside some quality rest. We know that when your dog is napping it is not because of boredom but because we have finished  a stimulating morning session of 'Search & Sniff' or have come back from jumping in the puddles at the afternoon adventure walk. A dog that is kept mentally active is prone to a happier, healthier and long lasting life!

Additional Services

If you require dog care support outside of our usual working hours, that is absolutely fine! We have a doggy au pair who is responsible for our dogs in the evenings. We simply charge per hour and send over invoice.

At La Casa we also host excursions to London's doggy friendly spots, the countryside and even the beach!

We are also partnered with a local dog groomer who can offer a groom within 48 hours notice. This is an additional service where we drop off and collect your dog and manage admin such as payment and consultation.
